Job Description - EUC Support Engineer

Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for an EUC Support Engineer to join our IT team. 

What you’ll achieve in the role: 

The overall purpose of this role is to provide high quality and professional support for all IT service users within Raven.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Logging, updating and closing support calls in a professional manner ensuring logged information is accurate and up to date

  • To configure, upgrade, patch and troubleshoot local infrastructure to ensure the stability of the service

  • Support and resolve issues with third party equipment as required

  • Ensure that all technical works are undertaken in accordance with IT policies and procedures with input into the formulation and on-going development of IT procedures and policies.

  • Assist the department’s customers and other members of IT where appropriate, by providing advice and education in an effective manner where required and as appropriate.

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure support, working across a range of up to date technologies including desktop/laptop/printer hardware, Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Azure Active Directory, Android OS, iPad OS, deployment technologies Intune/SCCM

  • Knowledge of at least one ITSM tool.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with clear communication with service end users both explaining technical functions and understanding user queries from a non-technical perspective.

  • Previous experience of working in an IT support role, and able to demonstrate IT related problem-solving skills.
