You will play a pivotal role in maintaining quality control, upholding health and safety standards, and ensuring full contract compliance.

  • Completing regular site inspections as planned, issuing timely reports with photographic evidence and clearly highlighting defects, non‑compliance, poor workmanship, and any risks to programme or quality.

  • Verify works against drawings, specifications, employer’s requirements, and regulatory/warranty standards, carrying out hold‑point inspections before works are covered and checking materials and workmanship at key stages.

  • Working with the Aftercare manager to manage identified defects and supporting end of defects inspections

  • Provide early warnings on quality risks, programme slippage due to workmanship, and specification deviations, offering clear recommendations to the Project Manager/Employer

  • Attend site and progress meetings, providing constructive challenge to contractors to support quality, safety, and programme outcomes

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Proven background as a construction professional with in-depth knowledge of housing construction, component replacement, and defect avoidance.
