Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Estate Services Operative – Caretaking to join our Estates Management team.

What you’ll achieve in the role:

You’ll make a real difference to the quality of residents’ lives by looking after communal areas of Raven properties, performing general technical tasks, and maintaining a safe environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carry out regular inspections of communal areas and blocks of flats, making minor repairs and addressing issues on the spot

  • Monitor estate services such as grounds maintenance and cleaning, reporting issues as necessary

  • Undertake caretaking duties including fire risk compliance, basic maintenance, and assisted gardening activities

  • Support community safety initiatives, deal with fly tipping, and assist with nuisance reduction

  • Maintain a visible presence in the community, engaging with residents and signposting to appropriate services

  • Participate in emergency standby service outside normal working hours (extra payment provided)

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Ability to work with challenging behaviour and under pressure

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, and manual handling procedures

  • Experience of working in local communities and collaborating with multiple teams

  • Good communication skills and adaptability to different audiences
